The Fragment Sync product site, FragmentSync.com is coming along nicely. A public beta will be out soon as well.
Welcome
January 9, 2009
Welcome to the new Fragment Space site. The new site has been designed to have a cleaner, simpler layout providing news and information on all things related to this little venture known as Fragment Space.
The new site coincides with two important announcements. First, Fragment Space is now a registered company, Fragment Space, LLC. As my ideas grew from simple, hobby and prototype apps to more complex, fully-developed applications, it seemed natural to put my time and energy into an attempt to build a successful company alongside these applications.
The second announcement is that of Fragment Sync. Fragment Sync is the flagship product of Fragment Space and will allow users to sync their files with all the devices, web services, and PCs in their digital life. The accompanying FragmentSync.Net web service, also in development, will enable Fragment Sync users to sync their files over the web for a small, yearly fee.
For those that remember the old app that was posted here, Firesync, the core of Firesync is the engine on which Fragment Sync is based. However, Fragment Sync is a major update and departure from what the more prototypical Firesync was.
I'll post more details on Fragment Sync soon, along with details on FragmentSync.Net, the soon-to-be completed Fragment Sync web site, and information on the upcoming beta of Fragment Sync.
